Bees are looking to us for help.
As spring approaches I am filled with excitement! Soon we will see flowers blooming, bees buzzing, butterflies floating, and hummingbirds jingling! I cannot wait!
The coming season change brings opportunity to bring changes in our own lives. Changes that, hopefully, will make a difference for our planet.
When I think on the topic of change for my personal habits, I like to take the bites I can chew and truly commit to. This year it is my goal to replace my front lawn of grass with flowering perennials, and lots of places for my little native bee friends to nest and thrive. It will be a big job, but the results will be amazing!
I will write about the process, so you can do the same, if you decide my idea is one you’d like to adopt. I am not saying this is the only change I will make. Some changes happen as others occur, but we need to start somewhere.
I hope you will join me in finding some small changes you can commit to and begin to make a difference for our pollinators, and our planet. It is our responsibility to care for our planet so our children and all future generations can enjoy the beauty it provides at every turn.
Please do share any goals you plan to make this spring too!
Thank you for joining the movement to save our bees!
